Our syndicate includes 4 lakes with carp to 38lb, Cats to 102lb, grass carp to 34lb and pike to 23lb. It works on a turn up and fish system, showers and toilets on site, you also have access to small pods which are perfect for a quick over nighter. Some of these are fitted with power. One of the syndicate lakes Gainsborough has only just been opened specifically for the syndicate. To book an appointment to view the lakes call 07415 889911 or email info@shatterford.com.
Food Deliveries
Anyone ordering food to be delivered to this site (Chinese, Indian, pizza etc ) must be delivered before 8pm. Anyone found breaking this rule will be asked to leave immediately.
Rules – Catfishing
- Minimum 60" nets, slide matt, extra large unhooking mat and weigh slings
- Live & Dead Baiting optional, strict conditions apply. (see below)
- Fish MUST NOT be killed, moved or taken by anglers.
- No lures or spinning
- Rods must NOT be left unattended at any time.
- Use Barbless hooks only.
- Treble hooks or fixed leads must NOT be used.
- No swimming or walking into the lakes.
- Catfish rods must be used
- Do not leave unwanted equipment on site.
- All rods must be on a pod or in proper bank sticks, and must be clear of the floor and clipped in properly
- All rods must have at least 1m of tubing
- No lead core, no fixed rigs
- Minimum 30lb mono - braid can be used
- No tiger nuts
- no retaining fish
- Rig checks will be done
- Live baits must be caught from the lake you're fishing. No fish are to be moved between lakes.
- Dead baits must be purchased from a reputable supplier
Rules – Carp fishing
- Minimum 20lb Mono - no braid for carp - 1m tubing must be used
- No lead core, no fixed rigs
- Barbless hooks only, no modified or crimped hooks
- Keep noise and lighting to a minimum.
- Report any incidents or concerns immediately.
- Health & Safety, site security and common sense MUST prevail at all times.
- All carp and cat anglers must have a carpcare kit with them.
- All specimen anglers MUST use the correct equipment as stated in the rules.
Live Baits for Cats can be caught out of the lake at a charge of £5. Anglers MUST advise us on arrival. Dead bait can only be used if purchased from a reputable supplier and must NOT come caught on other waters and moved to us. Random checks will be carried out and all offenders banned and asked to leave immediately.
